Delivery & Lead Times
We make everything ourselves in Somerset West, Cape Town, and courier nationwide. Here is what to expect once you have placed your order.
Delivery options
- PostNet to PostNet, from R120. We send your parcel to your nearest PostNet, and you receive a collection SMS from PostNet when it is ready. Allow 3-4 working days after dispatch.
- Door-to-door courier, from R135. Once your order is dispatched it takes 2-3 working days to arrive at your chosen address.
The exact delivery cost for your order is calculated at checkout.
How long before it ships
- In-stock items ship within 2-4 working days of your order.
- Made-to-order and personalised items, including wall art, house signs and personalised medal hangers, are made for you. Allow 10-15 working days for manufacture. Each product page shows its own lead time.
Each piece is laser cut, powder coated where needed, quality checked and packed before it ships. Orders are made in batches, so we cannot cut one or two pieces at a time. If a piece fails our quality check, delivery is delayed by at least a week and we will let you know by email.
Christmas orders
Order made-to-order and personalised items by 20 November. We close for the year on 12 December.
Collecting from us
You can collect your order from our factory in Somerset West to save on delivery. Please make an appointment first. Collection is Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm only, and not on weekends or public holidays.
Good to know
- Load shedding can affect our laser cutting machines. If it delays your order we will email you.
- Not sure whether an item is in stock? Email darren@dcdesigners.co.za with the exact product and we will confirm.
- To change your order or delivery address, email us Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm. We can only change an order before manufacturing starts, and an address before the parcel is dispatched.
