Race medals deserve better than a drawer. Here is how to choose and hang a medal hanger so your collection stays on show.
Choose the right number of tiers
Each medal hangs on its own tier, so count your medals and leave room to grow. Our hangers hold from 24 to 120 medals. A 48 tier hanger is about 37cm wide, and larger ones are wider, so check the dimensions on each product page. If you outgrow yours, our medal tier extensions add 48, 72, 100, 120 or 168 tiers.
Pick a finish
Most designs come in a brushed stainless steel finish or black. Some are also available in colours such as pink, purple or turquoise.
Hanging it
Every hanger comes with screws, nylon wall plugs and spacing nuts. The spacing nuts keep the hanger from sitting flush to the wall, so medals hang freely. Mark your fixing points with a spirit level before you drill, and make sure the wall can carry the weight of a full hanger.
Where to put it
Somewhere you will see it every day works best, such as a study wall, a hallway or a home gym.
Looking after it
Stainless steel and powder coating are built to last, and a little cleaning from time to time keeps them looking good. Near the coast even stainless steel can rust over time, so wipe your hanger down regularly.
